Hey everyone!

So I’ve been kind of busy lately, I think rather more busy mentally than anything else. I haven’t really had time to post anything. Life has been a wee bit stressful; looking for a job but having no luck with that. I totally miss buying books, and going out. Also, I have one last exam to go and I’m done with exams- I can kiss high school goodbye forever. Praise the lord! Yes, I’m 23 and I’ve been trying to complete grade 12 for the past few years. It’s been complicated but I haven’t given up. Anyways, I cannot wait to finally study English and get a degree. All I can think about is sitting for hours on end diving into the field I only dreamed of. It’s an exciting feeling. I’m really believing for that to happen soon. With regards to that last exam, it’s maths. I don’t know about you, but I’m terrible at it. I’m so believing for a miracle to pass it and then I never have to deal with maths problems again 😂

Currently I went to the library and took out two books; Blink by Malcolm Gladwell and Divergent by Veronica Roth. Both fantastic reads. So that’s kind of what I’m digging into at the moment. Also, I just finish Quiet by Susan Cain. Wow, I have so much to say about that book. Hopefully, I can write a little something on it soon.

The weather has been extremely cold, and I never know what to do with myself because I’m frozen stiff half the time. I don’t even want to get out of bed but I have cats and they’re hungry all the time. They make sure that I get up to feed them. They will annoy me, and that does the trick. Most of the time.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful winter and getting lots of reading done (not like me). If you’re trying to get a job, don’t worry the right one will come your way. Also to anyone studying, wishing you all the best!

Lots of love,

To the best day of my life…

Received some of our wedding photos today! I am beyond thrilled with them and cannot wait to see the rest.

When God told us to get married it was exciting. Then it became overwhelming and stressful. But to this day, I do not regret marrying this beautiful man! We agree that it was the best decision we ever made.

I hope you enjoy some of these photos that I’m about to share with you ❤️

Steve Harvey book review

Book reviews aren’t as easy as I thought they would be. But I’m giving it a try. This is only the second one I have written, so bare with me.

I recently finished reading this book, it’s brilliant. Enjoy the review!
